James Frowen Case Study
James Frowen, Team Leader at Companies House, recently completed a level 3 Customer Services Modern Apprenticeship with t2 business solutions and has just started a level 3 Management Modern Apprenticeship.
James said: “I decided to take the first course with t2 to enhance my skills, and enable me to deliver a high level of Customer Service. In February 2008 I was promoted to a Team Leader, and in December I started my Management Modern Apprenticeship.
“I am a very self-motivated and enthusiastic person, and decided to commence the programmes to enable me to achieve my goals, and improve my skill base and knowledge. I also felt that the qualification would reflect the experience that I have built within Companies House.
“I really enjoyed the Customer Service qualification, and found t2 a very professional and supportive company. This course and my recent enrolment on the Management course have enabled me to thoroughly review my personal goals. I now have the confidence and drive to commence a BA (Hons) Leadership & Management degree course in September this year.
“I do find balancing my learning with my work and home life difficult, especially as I am a proud father of my 16 month old daughter. I am pleased to say that I have now mastered that art (for the moment at least). I recommend the following to other learners; ensure that you really concentrate on your time management skills both in work and at home.
“I believe that the courses have enabled me to evidence the skills that I have gained through my experience. I feel very invigorated and have a clear focus of where I want to be. I have set further goals of future aspirations and I feel that I have achieved more that what I expected from the course.”
