   IT  top tips
Simon Berry is a trainer at t2 and specialises in information technology
training.

1. Protect you computer - a firewall helps protect your computer from hackers who might try to delete information, crash your computer, or even steal your passwords or credit card numbers. Make sure your firewall is always turned on.

2. Keep your operating system up-to-date - High priority updates are critical to the security and reliability of your computer. They offer the latest protection against malicious online activities. Microsoft provides new updates, as necessary, on the second Tuesday of the month.

3. Don't save your logon information - Always log out of websites by clicking "log out" on the site. It's not enough to simply close the browser window or type in another address. Many programs include automatic login features that will save your username and password. Disable this option so no one can log in as you.

Nathan Mitchell, Technical Trainer for
BOM IT Solutions, gives his eye witness account on his first visit to us at t2 business solutions. .

“ I came to Melrose hall to train a course in the IT Suite, and was contracted in by a third party training organisation. Travelling from Thornbury, South Gloucester, itb was great to have everything ready for me when i arrived. "

“My first and last impression of Melrose Hall was that it is an excellent venue - a great location with very friendly staff. I only drink one specific brand of coffee - when t2 found this out, they made sure that this coffee was available for me the next day. Overall, my training class and I were very happy with the environment. Rebekah and Rachel were great and always willing to help, as was Jane on reception."

“I would return to
Melrose Hall with no hesitation at all. I enjoyed my week there and would recommend the facilities to staff .”
