t2’s Learner of the Quarter Announced
t2 awards Learner of the Quarter to one candidate who has shown exemplary hard work and determination to complete their Modern Apprenticeship.
Congratulations to Ryan Davies who has been named as t2’s Learner of the Quarter for the last quarter in 2009.
Having recently completed an Institute of Leadership and Management Level two award and a National Vocational Certificate Level two, Ryan has successfully achieved a level 2 Team Leading Modern Apprenticeship.
Working for Companies House, Ryan is a Team Leader. His responsibilities include managing staff, monitoring and recording daily statistics and managing resources.
Ryan said: “I undertook the course because I wanted gain a qualification and further develop myself as a Team Leader. Knowing that I would achieve these things was a great motivation tool for me.”
“To ensure I was on the right track to completing my qualification, I pushed myself to complete all work within the required deadlines set by my Personal Development Manager.”
“I will definitely go on to further learning. At Companies House we are very lucky to have the complete backing of our managers to do these qualifications, and are allocated time within work to do them. To have the opportunity to gain a qualification whilst in work is quite a privilege.”
“When taking a Modern Apprenticeship, my advice to other learners would be to try and complete the work set by your tutor as soon as you receive it. This way, the information is fresh in your mind, and you will be able to progress a lot quicker through the qualification.”
Ryan added: “The tutors at t2 have been very, very good and supported me throughout. I would recommend to other learners to use their expert knowledge, as I found it invaluable during my qualification.”
Rob Marr, Managing Director of t2 business solutions said: “Ryan has worked extremely hard to complete his Modern Apprenticeship, and his determination and self-motivation earned him the t2’s Learner of the Quarter title. t2 wishes Ryan the best of luck with any further qualifications he undertakes and hopes to train with him again in the future.”
