T2 Account Manager Achieves Gold in European Masters

t2 business solutions’ account manager, Claire Dempster, has just returned from Bridlington, Yorkshire, with gold to her name after her team won the European Ladies Team Event and European Ladies Speed Pool at the European Masters in 8 ball pool.

Claire, who has worked for t2 for one year, has played pool with the Scotland Ladies International Pool Team since 1994. Originally playing pub pool, Claire went straight into the team and is now vice-captain.

The European Masters, which ran from 24th-30th April, consisted of a round robin every day, competing in 3 sets of 7, with the top 4 teams moving onto the semi-final knock out rounds. In the final, the Scotland Ladies International Pool Team beat the Welsh team 11-7, earning first place.

Claire Dempster said: “I’m thrilled that the team did so well in the competition. We worked very hard, and even though we played against some great teams, it was brilliant to come first overall.”
