a training manager to develop t2 staff

A leading Welsh training provider is practising what it preaches by appointing a training manager to develop its own staff.

Melanie Thomas, a fully qualified assessor, joins t2 business solutions to head a programme of professional development for the company’s specialist business assessors.

Born in Pontypridd, Melanie aged 31, gained an MBA from the University of Glamorgan, with a special focus on management skills and employee development. She has worked for other training providers in Cardiff, including ITEC Cardiff and Routeone, bringing 10 years of experience to her new role at t2.

Melanie has also worked as an inspector for Estyn, the Welsh Assembly Government body responsible for regulating the industry

Melanie told us: “t2 was a firm I had heard a lot about within the industry and also in the local papers. They were one of the few training providers I felt were maintaining top standards and when the opportunity to join them came up I jumped at the chance.
