Age just a number for Welsh Work-Based Students
The Open University in Wales has employed t2 business solutions to create bespoke commercial training for it’s IT and Office Support Service staff.
With a new premises based in the centre of Cardiff, the Open University in Wales (OU in Wales) wanted to complement this with personalised classroom training from t2 business solutions. A Customer Services workshop - to be held at t2 business solutions premises, Melrose Hall – the training has been created to ensure that employees provide incomparable service to all that they come into contact with during the working day.
The course, tailored to the required needs of the OU in Wales, had specific objectives to meet. Firstly, to create a lasting impression as an organisation that delivers first class, top quality service to all its students, tutors and customers. Secondly, to ensure that all students, tutors and visitors are cared for in a professional, friendly and welcoming manner.
After working with the OU in Wales, t2 business solutions put together a plan to create a programme to increase the already successful level of customer service even further. The key topics included; understanding the power of reputation, maintaining and projecting a positive attitude, creating a professional image both face to face and on the telephone, the use of positive language and turning a negative into a positive, and more.
