United Utilities and t2 Celebrate One Year of Training

t2 business solutions have supplied United Utilities with facilities for all of their South Wales based training for one year this month.

United Utilities, who are committed to continually developing their staff, have hired training facilities in Cardiff on average once a week for the past year. Contracting external training companies, United Utilities hold their Mini Managers and Managers Toolkit training courses in t2’s Cardiff base.

Facilities provided to United Utilities include a fully prepared room, refreshments and catering, along with an additional breakout room for teamwork and exercises.

t2 have catered for over 300 delegates with United Utilities at Melrose Hall, along with a regular attendance of actors, who are contracted in for role-play exercises.

Cheryl Baybut, Learning and Development Assistant for United Utilities said: “United Utilities hold a lot of training nationwide. It is great to have one, central base in South Wales where all of our training is held. t2 have always assisted with any special requests and have everything right first time.

“Staff at t2 are helpful and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. They definitely supply a business with the extra support needed in organising events.”

Mike Atherton, Tutor at Bray Leino, a contracted training company for United Utilities, said: “The Yangtze and breakout rooms were perfect for us, both in size and layout. The true test to a venue is when tutors ask for something extra, such as additional photocopying – t2 were able to accommodate everything smoothly. Overall, the experience at Melrose Hall is brilliant.”
