t2 Supports Jeans for Genes
Leading Welsh training provider, t2 business solutions, supported Jeans for Genes day on Friday 3rd October by making donations in exchange for the opportunity to wear jeans to work.
Jeans for Genes is a charity that aims to change the world for children affected by genetic disorders ranging from cleft lips to blood disorders such as sickle cell anaemia. These conditions can be caused by the smallest differences in a child’s genes. A baby is born in the UK with a genetic birth defect or disorder every half an hour.
Jeans for Genes provides help, support and information for affected children and their families. Donations also contribute to investments in ground-breaking research to establish causes and treatments for the conditions.
t2 business solutions encouraged all office-based employees to participate in the fundraising for Jeans for Genes by wearing their denim to work and donating £2 to the worthy cause. In total, t2 collected over £70 for Jeans for Genes.
Rob Marr, Managing Director for t2 business solutions said: “We are always open to supporting charities at t2, and Jeans for Genes is a thoroughly worthy cause. It was great to see all the office-based staff taking part and contributing so generously to charity. The success of our fundraising is something that we are looking to top next year.”
