Procter return for Negotiation

Procter Brothers return to leading training provider to increase negotiation skills among sales staff.

Nine months ago, t2 business solutions delivered bespoke sales training and mentoring to Procter Brothers, with outstanding success. The training was tailored to meet the specific objectives of the successful family run business.

Following from the success of the first course, t2 were asked to create a second tailored training programme, focussing on the art of negotiation skills.

Jeremy Procter, Managing Director of Procter Brothers Ltd , said: “We decided to recruit t2 business solutions on a second occasion due to the great success of the original programme. With new targets being set, it was important to ensure our sales teams had the necessary negotiation training to meet them.”

The programme included principles of negotiation, phases of negotiation and revisited some sales tactics covered in the original programme. The aim of the course was to instil the confidence, skills and techniques needed to achieve the sales objectives for the company.

“I have received positive feedback about the benefits of undertaking training in a specialised area like this. The course was catered completely to our needs and the benefits are recognisable even at this early stage. I am very happy with the outcome of both the negotiation training and sales programme t2 have created for Procter Brothers” added Jeremy.

Through creating a tailored training programme, Procter staff were able to apply all negotiation phases to their job role as all examples were related to situations experienced by employees.
