Procter Brothers Increase Telephone Skills

Procter Brothers return to leading training provider for the second time to increase the telephone selling skills of sales staff.

Seventeen months ago, t2 business solutions delivered bespoke sales training and mentoring to Procter Brothers, with outstanding success. The training was tailored to meet the specific objectives of the successful family run business.

This training was followed up by another tailored course of negotiation skills to continue the increased success of the sales department. Now, nine months after the second course, Procter Brothers have once again returned to t2.

Following from the success of the first two courses, t2 were asked to create a third tailored training programme, focussing on telephone selling skills for a further seven sales people.

Jeremy Procter, Managing Director of Procter Brothers Ltd, said: “Our first two experiences of working with t2 have been very successful. All of Procter Brothers’ outcomes were achieved through the training, and as a result, we have seen improved performance from our sales department.

“We decided to recruit t2 business solutions on a third occasion to supply further training and incorporate one-on-one coaching with the staff. There were some areas that required attention, and the bespoke course allowed us to focus specifically on these.”

The programme included projecting the right image for Procter Brothers, creating a rapport with customers, and top tips for effective telephone selling skills. The aim of the course was to instil the confidence, skills and techniques needed to achieve the sales objectives for the company.

Having a course catered completely to our needs is definitely beneficial, and results are recognisable straight away. I am very happy with the outcome of all the training programmes t2 have created for Procter Brothers” added Jeremy.
