Charity Q& A

Q: How can you get away with turning up to work dressed in anything you like, spend your lunch time gambling and pop out mid morning to buy a load of breakfast rolls for you and your colleagues?

A: When all those things are raising money for Comic Relief!!

At t2, we like to do our bit for charity.  So whilst Comic Relief isn’t our chosen charity for 2007, we still wanted to make a contribution.  Via a combination of a ‘Dress Down Day’ a Comic Relief Sweepstake and a Breakfast Run t2 managed to raise £165.00 for Comic Relief 2007.

The whole day was a success (you would be surprised how many people will give up their diet for a bacon sandwich, when you tell them it’s raising money for charity!) with 2 of our staff winning £40 on the Comic Relief Sweepstakes.  Our Marketing Manager, Neil Clark even decided to donate his winnings to the Comic Relief fund (thanks Neil!)

t2 raised £165, which doesn’t sound a lot to us British folk, but when you take into account that £100 of our money could help feed a hungry child for a year because their family is too poor to care for them, or £50 of it will help 15 African farmers pay for the tools they urgently need to grow crops to provide for their families, then the impact of this one day, is put into perspective.

We’ve done our bit, but if you would like to give more to this very worthy cause, you can donate online here .
