Marketing Team Expansion at t2

The marketing team at one of Wales’ leading training providers is expanding to reflect the company’s continuing growth.

Rebekah Craven joins t2 business solutions as assistant marketing manager, and Ciaran Duffy as marketing executive. They join existing marketing manager Neil Clark, and will be based at the company’s headquarters in St Mellons, Cardiff.

Rebekah, 23 from Tonypandy, completed a degree in Business Studies from the University of Glamorgan in 2004, and then went on to gain an MSc in Marketing at the same University. During her MSc course Rebekah worked as a marketing specialist at eMag Solutions in Cardiff. In her new role at t2 Rebekah will be responsible for coordinating direct marketing campaigns, event management and identifying future trends and opportunities.

Rebekah said: “I’m really enjoying the work so far because t2 has such an inclusive atmosphere, I feel like the work I am doing is really making a difference to the company as a whole. It’s a very rewarding feeling to have.

“t2 is growing quickly as a company and I am looking forward to being a part of the future developments. I also hope to study for a professional marketing qualification in the future, which will enhance the skills I can bring to my new job.”

Ciaran, 27 and originally from Dublin, has several years experience in marketing roles, including for BBC Wales in its marketing and communications department. He has a degree in Electronic Media and a diploma in Media Production and Communication. His responsibilities at t2 will include e-marketing strategy, internal marketing and coordinating client feedback.

Commenting on his new role Ciaran said: “I’ve worked in a variety of areas in marketing and the media, and I hope that my experience will help t2 explore new areas of marketing in order to further accelerate their growth. I’ve only been here a short time, but I’ve taken to working here straight away. Although t2 is a large organisation, there is a great atmosphere and everyone really gets on.”

Neil Clark, marketing manager of t2 said: “Our aim is to deliver quantifiable value to all our clients and marketing is an essential element of this. With the enthusiasm, commitment and ability that Rebekah and Ciaran have already shown, I am sure they will become a vital part of the team.”
