Security Training

Training 4 Work offers security training for individuals who have an interest in or are working in Security Guarding, and require a licence to practice in order to work as a contracted Security Guard. The qualification is available to anyone aged 16 or over.

The qualification is endorsed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and learners who successfully complete the qualification can then apply to the SIA for a licence. The Edexcel BTEC Level 2 Award in Security Guarding will give participants a wide knowledge in Working in the Private Sector Industry; Working as a Security Officer; and Conflict Management for the Private Security Industry.

Funding may be available to you to undertake this qualification. For more information, contact our Centre Manager, Simon Berry, on 01633 264 500, or download the qualification outline on the right.
