Can I tailor my training to make it more relevant?

If the training is specifically for your organisation it is always fully tailored to your objectives and needs.  If it is an open course you are attending, the course will be generic to suit everyone – however the trainer will always aim to tailor the examples to suit the candidates in the room.

How do you tailor your training?

We have yet to experience this, but if you feel that the training you experienced from t2 has not met your expectations we will offer you a full refund and our sincerest apologies.  Closing the gap between your organisations performance and potential is what t2 aim to achieve with all our training solutions, rest assured, if you aren’t happy with your training, neither are we.

What if I’m not happy with my course?

For closed training courses we always tailor the training to suit your requirements.  We arrange a meeting with you to discuss the issues you hope to solve or improve as a result of the training.  A dedicated account manager and the trainer will attend the meeting to help tailor the course to your requirements.

Once we have clear objectives, the trainer will devise a proposal of key topics and benefits for the training to help you understand how your issues will be tackled.  This proposal is then used as the basis for the course.

Who are your training clients?

Too many to mention here!   We have a client base of over 400 companies in both the public and private sector.  We are currently working with organisations like HBOS, Wilkinsons, Cardiff & Vale NHS Trust, Cardiff & Newport Volkswagen, The Open University

How much does training cost?

Depending on the solution you choose the training can cost between £95 and £950 per day.  Open courses usually cost £95 per delegate.  A tailored training programme usually costs £950 per day for up to 10 delegates.

What's the difference between training and coaching?

Training is usually based in a classroom and is an interactive workshop for between 1 and 10 people.  It usually includes a presentation and group exercises.  Coaching is usually done on a one to one basis honing in on individual needs and requirements.  Coaching is always confidential and focuses on making the most of the individuals strengths and identifying and improving weaknesses.

For example, one of our clients recently arranged 7 days training followed by 7 days coaching.  The training taught the basic principles of telephone selling, the coaching included the trainer sitting in with the delegates for 2 hour slots, as they called real clients.  The trainer analysed the calls and gave individual feedback and targets.  This blended approach ensures that the principles taught in the classroom are making the transition to the working environment.
