Aimee Povall was one of the first trainees in our new centre. She originally started with us on the 10th September 2007 and while she was in Centre she gained four accredited qualifications and is now working towards her main NVQ. Aimee has now secured a job placement in Careers Wales where she will continue to work through her NVQ in IT Level 2. Aimee is currently being trained as the receptionist within Careers Newport but is hoping to work towards becoming a Careers Advisor.
Amy Hughes like Aimee above was one of our first trainees and again started on the 10th September 2007.She successfully completed all key skills and her CLAiT Plus. Amy has started her NVQ for IT Users and has completed one unit of her qualification in Centre. Amy was then successful at her interview with Hodson, Parsons, James and Vaux Solicitors and commenced her placement on Monday 15th October 2007 where she is working on a three month trial with a full-time job on offer after successful completion of the probation period.
